Ever thought of having cosmetic dentistry?
Personally, I have went through 2 years of braces(Thank God I didn’t
need extractions!) during my late teens and it was such a painful
experience, but I guess the pain was worth it now I have straight
teeth! My aim now is to get my teeth whitened, but I’m not too sure
about the procedures and I’ve yet consulted any professionals whether
bleaching is a good option or not.
Anyway, back to cosmetic dentistry. The purpose of cosmetic
dentistry is to go through a series of procedures to achieve that
Hollywood smile in a shorter span of time. Common procedures include
teeth whitening(which is what I’m looking for), veneers, crowning and
white fillings. This is something you might want to consider is your
have problems such as a chipped tooth or wide gaps between the teeth.
For me, I prefer to go to dentists that my friends recommended to me,
or dentists that were featured in magazines. If you are looking for a
team of reputable, dependable and experienced dentists, I’d suggest you
give Glasgow a try. Otherwise, Dentists Bristol would be able to be a second option.
However, if you have other dental problems like gum disease,
I’d recommend that you see a dentist or an orthodontist as soon as
possible before the condition of the gums worsen. There a several types
of gum diseases, Gingivitis being the most common; Periodontitis, the
end result of untreated Gingivitis; and Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative
Gingivitis (ANUG), a rare gum disease normally found in malnourished
individuals. Fortunately I have always made sure I go for my regular
dental check-up. Just to let you know, gum disease is the inflammation
of gums which are caused due to plaque build up so make sure you brush
your teeth at least twice a day, floss often and use a mouth wash to
keep plague away and maintain healthy gums!
